CXCR1 and CXCR2 were two G‐protein–coupled receptors which can be activated by IL‐8 or other chemokines, thus activating several intracellular signalling pathways.21 CXCR1 and CXCR2 were also found on the surface of the ovarian cancer cells and mounting evidence suggested that CXCR2 was the main receptor of IL‐8 in ovarian cancer cells,22, 23, 24 which was consist with our results of immunocytochemistry. Here, CXCR2 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
