These results were similar to those previously obtained in liver [24], and successfully replicated herein with our reduced version of the epigenetic clock (r = 0.89, p = 3.9 × 10−22) (Fig. 1c), as well as to those in the liver of subjects with obesity (r = 0.87, p = 3.3 × 10−13) (Fig. 1d). Here, CLOCK is linked to obesity disorder.
