Univariate analysis showed that age [(>45 years; OR (95% CI): 4.83 (1.03–20.5),p = 0.026], male sex [OR (95% CI):3.24 (0.96–14.7), p = 0.048), tumor size >4 cm [OR (95% CI):5.17 (1.13–28.4),p = 0.012], Vascular invasion[OR (95% CI): 7.14 (1.42–25.6),p = 0.002] and low H19 level [OR (95% CI): 6.33 (1.12–21.5),p = 0.018]were significant factors related to distant metastases (Table 3).
