In mice lacking STAT1 and treated with ruxolitinib, the phenotype of coexisting MPNs and B-cell transformation was reproduced, suggesting that the reduced ability of T lymphocytes and NKs to eliminate malignant hematopoietic cells, caused by STAT1 deficiency, could facilitate the development of a B-cell lymphoma (22). This evidence concerns the gene STAT1 and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
