Symptoms of arthralgia, myalgia, and fatigue occurring at the time of sampling were significantly associated with a higher proportion of CD8+ IFNγ and CD4+ interleukin (IL) 2–secreting cells, while headache was associated with higher CD4+ IL2 (Figure 4) and IFNγ ELISpot response.
