CD4 and HIV infectious disease: We did not find a statistically significant relationship between the presence of left ventricular remodeling and estimated duration of HIV infection (≥300 vs < 300 days; p = 0.339), CD4 count (≥ vs < 500 cells/μL; p = 0.197), HIV viral load (≥ vs < 100,000 copies/mL; p = 0.719), AIDS (p = 0.456) and traditional CVD risk factors (p > 0.05 for all) (Table 2).
