GLI1 and lung carcinoma: Overexpression of GLI1 has been reported in multiple solid tumor types, including medulloblastoma [12], rhabdomyosarcoma [13,14], biliary [15], breast cancer [16,17,18], prostate cancer [19,20] colon cancer [21], bladder cancer [22], and lung cancer [23], and is also associated with metastatic tumors [15,18,19].
