SELP and peripheral arterial disease: After correction for WBC and smoking, only the inverse correlations with in vivo p-selectin expression (B−0.029, p = 0.048) and ADP-inducible MPA formation (B = −0.559, p = 0.034) were statistically significant indicating that leukocyte counts and smoking can explain some, but by far not all inverse correlations between SNORD113.2 and SNORD114.1 levels and platelet activation in PAD patients (Table 3).
