To assess the biological relevance of VISTA expression in serous ovarian cancer, we evaluated the association between the C10orf54 gene (encoding VISTA), CD8A (encoding CD8), and other inhibitory immune checkpoints including PDCD1 (encoding PD-1), CD274 (encoding PD-L1), PDCD1LG2 (encoding PD-L2), HAVCR2 (encoding TIM-3), LAG3 (encoding LAG3), and TIGIT (encoding TIGIT) based on TCGA mRNA expression profiles. Here, TIGIT is linked to ovarian serous adenocarcinoma.
