Some of these genes have been reported to be closely associated with CRC, such as CXCL12, CXCR5, SSTR2, and F2. Yu et al. (38) found that CXCR12 promotes inflammatory CRC progression by recruiting immune cells and enhances cytoskeletal remodeling via signaling through the linear non-coding RNA XIST/miR-133a-3p/RhoA. This evidence concerns the gene XIST and colorectal carcinoma.
