Several studies reported that PVT1 is overexpressed in a wide variety of cancers compared to non-tumoral tissues, including breast and ovarian cancer (46), pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (47), cholangiocarcinoma (47), thyroid carcinoma (47), malignant pleural mesothelioma (47), pediatric malignant astrocytoma (46), acute myeloid leukemia (46), and Hodgkin's lymphoma (46). This evidence concerns the gene PVT1 and ovarian carcinoma.
