The univariate analysis indicated that older age (>60 years old), TNM stage II-III disease, moderate or high histological grade, positive vascular invasion, positive neural invasion, high fibrinogen levels (>3.39 g/L), low albumin levels (<34.9 g/L), and a Fib-Alb score of 1 and 2 were associated with a worse prognosis in GC patients compared to a score of 0. Here, ALB is linked to gastric cancer.
