It has been suggested that a significant increase of SIRT1 expression in hepatocellular carcinoma [23]; breast, prostate, ovarian, gastric, and colon cancers [25, 26, 28, 49, 50]; glioblastoma [51]; and lymphoma [52] might be associated with the development and invasion of tumors. This evidence concerns the gene SIRT1 and colonic neoplasm.
