IL10 and polycystic ovary syndrome: Another interesting observation was that the pro-inflammatory markers (serum hs-CRP, TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β) were elevated and anti-inflammatory (serum adiponectin and IL-10) were lower among vegetarian women with PCOS as compared to non-vegetarian women with PCOS, although statisticalyl significant difference was found only in cases of serum hs-CRP, resistin and adiponectin levels (Table 3).
