The phosphorylation of tau post-seizure activity has previously been described in models of intraperitoneal delivered KA-induced status epilepticus with the results of these studies being largely reproduced in our study in addition to the identification of a distinct tau phosphorylation pattern during epilepsy (Crespo-Biel et al., 2007; Liang et al., 2009).
