Additionally, we also checked the mutation of 11 key tumor-initiating genes (MYC, BMI1, HRAS, MYB, FOS, MET, JUN, EGFR, CSF1R, ZHX2, and ABL1), together with 10 vital tumor-inhibiting genes (P53, Pb, P16, P21, APC, DCC, NF1, NF2, VHL, and WT1) as well; collectively, we did not find new harmful SNP mutations in the abovementioned 21 genes (Additional file 6: Whole Exome Sequencing Data). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and neoplasm.
