A study from China has reported that among patients with non-obstructive coronary artery disease (detected by CT angiography) those who had high Lp(a) levels had high incidence of major adverse cardiac events in future.25 In our study, we cannot refute the presence of intra-luminal plaques in coronaries of those controls who have high Lp(a) levels. Here, LPA is linked to coronary artery disorder.
