ALB and peripheral vascular disease: In sensitivity analyses, when additionally adjusting for urinary albumin, creatinine, and anti-diabetic medication, the association between yearly HbA1c change and microvascular disease remained (1.11; 1.01–1.21; P = 0.024), but the association with peripheral vascular disease was attenuated (1.05; 0.89–1.24; P = 0.58).
