Nothing has been described for ANXA3, but ANXA5 is related, at least its allelic variant defined in the OMIM® as “Pregnancy loss, recurrent, susceptibility to, 3”, with antiphospholipid autoimmune syndrome, characterized by recurrent thrombosis in macro and microvascularization, giving rise to myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism, gangrene, recurrent pregnancy loss, and others [31]. This evidence concerns the gene ANXA5 and pulmonary embolism.
