TERT and neoplasm: At multivariate analysis, high levels of TERT in tumor were significantly associated with a higher risk of regional failure (HR = 5.75, 95% CI: 1.16–28.49; P = 0.032), increased risk of progression (HR:2.12,; 95% CI: 1.00–4.47; P = 0.049) and death (HR:3.53, 95% CI: 1.47–8.52; P = 0.005) (Table 2).
