Preliminary results of the phase II trial of MLN8237 in combination with chemotherapy in high-risk patients (NCT02560025) showed a CR + CRi rate of 59% in secondary AML, 67% in patients aged ≥ 65, 77% in adverse risk karyotype, and of 75% TP53-mutated cases [86].
