FOXP3 and cancer: Other members of this superfamily, such as FOXKs [13], FOXM1 [14], FOXQ1 [22], FOXP3 [23], FOXF2 [24], FOXO1 [25], FOXR2 [26], FOXA2 [27] and FOXL1 [28], have all been shown to interact with β-catenin and play a role in the EMT of cancer cells.
