As demonstrated by Western blotting (Fig. 2a) and Immunofluorescence (Fig. 2b) analysis, ectopic FOXG1 significantly reduced the expression of E-cadherin and α-catenin, but highlighted the vimentin and fibronectin, suggesting that FOXG1 enhanced the invasiveness of HCC.
