The host immune system can recognize and target ovarian cancer [3], in which a variety of tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) have been demonstrated (HER-2/neu [4]; p53 [5, 6]; the folate binding protein [7], sialyated TN [8], MUC-1 [9], NY-ESO-1 [10] or mesothelin [11] among others). This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and ovarian cancer.
