Inherited mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 (BRCA1/2) cancer susceptibility genes convey high lifetime risks of BC and OC, in the range of 40–66% and 13–46%, respectively [9, 10], as well as, increased susceptibility for other malignancies, such as prostate and pancreatic cancers [11].
