The results show that the low CTNNBIP1 expression was associated with a poor prognosis among these patients (p = 0.002; hazard ratio (HR), 2.40; 95% confidence interval (CI), 1.36–4.24 for CTNNBIP1 expression), and this remained true even after adjusting for sex, smoking habit, and tumor stage status (p = 0.043; HR, 1.85; 95% CI, 1.02–3.37) (Table 2).
