In in-vivo studies, oxaliplatin has shown to increase p38 phosphorylation at 0.5 and 4 hours after the treatment [22], or protein kinase C (PKC) phosphorylation, ERK1/2 phosphorylation, and c-fos expression on day 14 after the treatment [23], in the spinal cord of oxaliplatin-induced neuropathy mouse model.
