Such data are in agreement with other reports, in which it was demonstrated that PCA3 score was similar in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and/or normal parenchyma at biopsy in a large series with chronic prostatitis and high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (HG-PIN) [50].
