Additionally, disease-free survival curves according to cytosolic (Fig. 1D) or nuclear (Fig. 1E) DSCC1 levels in stages II and III colon cancer revealed that cases with high cytosolic DSCC1 levels displayed better oncological outcomes (P=0.007), although there was no difference between high and low/negative nuclear DSCC1 levels (P=0.084).
