Since olaparib, a potent PARP-1, PARP-2 and PARP-3 inhibitor, has shown remarkable efficacy in BRCA mutated breast cancer 65, 66, a phase I/II trial tested the combination of 300 mg of olaparib twice daily and eribulin (at standard dose and schedule) in TN advanced BC patients. Here, PARP2 is linked to breast cancer.
