The pooled analysis showed no significant heterogeneity between studies (I2 = 25.8%; P = 0.206) and a non-significant effect of ATM rs1801516 on the risk of breast cancer patients to develop radiation-induced telangiectasia (pooled OR: 1.14; 95%CI: 0.88–1.48, P = 0.316; Fig 3A). The gene discussed is ATM; the disease is breast carcinoma.
