Based on the results of Kaplan–Meier plot analysis, we found that the lower expression level of p-eIF4E or higher expression levels of eIF4E, p-4EBP, p-S6K1, and p-S6R were associated with worse cumulative survival in patients with tumor recurrence (Fig 1), which indicated that these protein levels correlated with the survival of these patients.
