Furthermore, we observed that miR-200b is suppressed by the ZEB1 transcription factor, which is a downstream, positive regulator of β-catenin/TCF4 signaling in NPC cells.26 These data demonstrated that FOXO1 induces miR-200b to suppress tumor stemness and EMT through WNT/β-catenin-stimulated TCF4/ZEB1 signals.
