Most hub genes were cytokines and chemokines with crucial functions in the inflammatory response and have been reported to be central for ALI pathogenesis, such as Il1β, Il1α, Il6, Ccl2, and Ccl12. A-485 repressed expression of these hub genes in vivo (Figure 4E, 4F) which could further inhibit the cascade signal transduction of inflammatory response. The gene discussed is CCL2; the disease is acute respiratory distress syndrome.
