TNC was significantly upregulated in high-grade glioma rather than in low-grade glioma (Fig. 1a and Supplementary Table 1) and was significantly correlated with a poor prognosis (p < 0.0001, Fig. 1b), concurrent with the results of the Sun Brain Statistics cohort in the ONCOMINE database showing the upregulation of TNC mRNA with an increase in glioma grade (Fig. 1c). The gene discussed is TNC; the disease is glioma.
