S100A14 and neoplasm: Then, we evaluated the expression pattern of these genes in comparison with WDR5 and we found a significant co-overexpression of WDR5 with genes associated with EMT and unfavorable prognosis, such as GCNT2, PPME1, MAPRE1, SNAI2, ZEB2, and S100A14 [39, 40], and tumor growth (UBE2C [41]) (Fisher’s exact test; P ≤ 0.05) (Additional file 1: Figure S3B).
