HSF1 and cervical adenocarcinoma: Comparing the expression of HSF1 targets in each human cell type confirmed that many of these genes are active in specific cell types; e.g., 2488 genes in cervical adenocarcinoma cell lines (HeLa and HF73 cells), 851 genes in erythroleukemia-derived cell lines (K562 cells), and 3567 genes in breast epithelium (HME1, BPE, and MCF7 cell lines) (Figure 2A and Table S3).
