LMNA and laminopathy: The aim of this study was therefore to investigate differences in cardiac phenotype and natural history in relation to the presence of neuromuscular involvement at presentation, in patients with a diagnosis of laminopathy. Furthermore, in order to test the hypothesis that neuromuscular presentation (phenotype) per se might be associated with a specific cardiac natural history, irrespective of genetics, we compared patients with neuromuscular presentation and LMNA or EMD mutations.
