MTFR2 promoted the proliferation, migration and invasion of BC cells, which corresponded to the previous study, and the function of the rescue cells was totally restored compared with the NC cells (Figure 5E–5G p<0.001); the EMT markers were also totally restored (Figure 5H p<0.001), indicating that MTFR2 exerts its function in a HIF1α- and Hif2α-dependent manner. This evidence concerns the gene MTFR2 and breast cancer.
