Current studies have indicated that NGR1 plays a protective role in the treatment of cardiac dysfunction [15,16], acute liver failure [17], diabetic nephropathy [18], colorectal cancer [12], cardiac hypertrophy [19] etc. However, to the best of our knowledge, the effects of NGR1 on AD remain unclear; therefore, we performed the current study.
