Over the last 2 decades, other NSCLC genetic alterations have been described, such as anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK), ROS proto-oncogene 1 (ROS1), rearranged during transfection proto-oncogene gene (RET), neurotrophin kinase (NTRK) gene rearrangements, B-Raf proto-oncogene, serine/threonine kinase (BRAF) mutations, MET proto-oncogene (MET) amplification, as well as MET exon 14 skipping (3–9). The gene discussed is MET; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
