As shown in Figure 7, the expression of Wnt and β-catenin was significantly decreased after MALAT1 knockout in SW480 cells (p < 0.05 vs. untreated control), suggesting that the regulatory effects of MALAT1 on the proliferation and apoptosis of colon cancer cells occurred through the inhibition of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. Here, MALAT1 is linked to colonic neoplasm.
