miRNA profiling analysis from liver tissues treated with CCl4 or corn oil for 10 weeks showed that hepatic expression of miR-378 family members (miR-378a-3p, miR-378b, and miR-378d) was decreased in CCl4-treated mice compared with the control group, which was inversely correlated with the Hedgehog target genes, Gli2, and Gli3 in tumor and non-tumor tissues [47]. The gene discussed is GLI2; the disease is neoplasm.
