Prior HF (HR 4.89), prior hepatic impairment (HR 3.08), eGFR (log regression) (HR 0.44), prior atrial fibrillation (HR 1.95), total insulin dose at week 1 (HR 1.53) and prior MI (HR 1.54) were all associated with a significantly higher risk of experiencing hHF during the trial (all p ≤ 0.0001), with a relative importance (i.e. the relative degree to which baseline variables could predict hHF) of 54.6%, 11.0%, 10.0%, 7.2%, 5.9% and 4.3%, respectively. Here, INS is linked to hydrops fetalis.
