NF-κB has been reported in numerous studies to exert an important role in tumorigenesis, tumor chemoresistance and metastasis, which is achieved through mediating the transcription of a serial of genes, including pro-proliferative gene cyclin D1, anti-apoptotic gene Bcl-2 and Survivin, and the angiogenetic gene VEGF12–16. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and neoplasm.
