The mandible OC ratio (Figure 6D) is larger in the Sost‐KO group than the WT group (effect size: 2.04; Mean WT: 0.828, KO: 0.859)—there is indeed a mandibular prognathism in the mice similar to the symptom described for sclerosteosis patients. This evidence concerns the gene SOST and sclerosteosis.
