In conclusion, next-generation sequencing analysis revealed that a total of 13 genes (RRP43, RRP42, CSL4, TRF4, Mtr4, RRP6, MPP6, CNOT2, CNOT3, SKI2, Ski3, EDC4, and XRN1) involved in the mRNA degradation pathway were upregulated by PPARα activation in oral cancer cells. This evidence concerns the gene TENT4A and lip and oral cavity carcinoma.
