With the assumption that knowing additional post-authorization data about the use of TPO-RA can help to more strategically align the clinical practice and the management recommendations of patients with ITP, we undertook the present study aimed to (i) analyze practice patterns on the use of TPO-RA in “real-world” settings, with respect to indications, safety, switching, and TFR, and (ii) evaluate patients characteristics that might influence the selection of a particular TPO-RA over the other. The gene discussed is TPO; the disease is autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura.
