We revealed that BAL significantly inhibited the development of PCOS, as evidenced by a significant decrease of serum hormone levels, including free testosterone, total testosterone, LH, FSH, progesterone, and estradiol, an improvement of insulin resistance, and an attenuation of functional and pathohistological changes and follicular development, and a decrease of pro-inflammatory cytokines and an increase of anti-inflammatory cytokines in PCOS rats. Here, BRD2 is linked to Insulin resistance.
