In this community, BMP-7, as a ceRNA driven by MTAP, has been proved to act as a tumor suppressor that repressed proliferation, self-renewal, and tumor initiation of stem-like glioblastoma cells through suppressing epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) (Zeisberg et al., 2003; Tate et al., 2012). The gene discussed is BMP7; the disease is neoplasm.
