UPF2 and cancer: The recurrent cancer mutations analysis in the UPF1 gene [29] using the cancer genome atlas (TCGA) sequencing data shows that 31 residues located in the UPF2 interacting domain (i.e., CH-domain) of UPF1 and 10 residues at the ATP-binding site/substrate pocket were found to be frequently mutated (Figure 1 and Figure S2).
